Biography

Cinder will be 4 years old this summer. She is a sassy, independent cat, with a big personality. She's not a lap cat and doesnt need a lot. Shes the type of cat that graces you with her presence and will allow pets and cuddles on her terms. She is vocal about unwanted pets as she will let you pet her but when she meows, thats it. If you pet her again she will not bite, but gently place her teeth on you (I know its sounds crazy). She is very smart. She can open smiple doors or doors that slide. She loves to play and go outside, but she will climb trees. She loves high perches, we have wall cat beds and she can jump very high. We also have a cat wheel that she loves to run in! She was our first cat and we love her so much. We have added two other cats to our family and she tolerated them in the beginning, but when we brought our baby home she became too stressed. She now dislikes both cats and our baby. Its been a year now and we have tried everything: re-introducing, extra play time, aromatherapy, holistic drops, gabapentin, prozac. Before the cats and baby she was the sweetest but now shes just so anxious. Her behaviors are toward the other cats (she hisses and attacks) and to the baby (she scratched her once). We are hoping to find a new home that will be loving and less stimulating. She would do well in a home with out other cats, dogs, babies/toddlers. She is on prozac right now, but she wouldnt need that if she was in a less stressful home.
