This lovable pup brings so much joy to us but sadly we are rehoming him due to behavior issues with our toddler. We would like to rehome to a family with no children or older children.
He is fantastic with other dogs. Dogs that don’t like other dogs still like Moose! And he plays well (ish) with our cat.
He is healthy although the vet recommended we start brushing his teeth due to some concern about beginning gum disease. He is missing one tooth due to a collision with our other dog.
He has lots of energy and needs a lot of exercise. He is okay at walking on a leash so long as he has a gentle leader on to limit pulling. He is ok off leash although has been known to run off so we often have used a shock collar for off leash walks. We have a small fenced in yard. He loves to play fetch too! He’s a pretty decent mountain bike companion as well.
He is accustomed to being allowed on all furniture and sleeping in our bed. He’s a pretty good cuddler and will sometimes crawl in your lap even if you don’t want him too! Especially if you sneeze. For some reason he shows a lot of concern for sneezing.
He has a very cheery disposition and was easy to train (except for “stay”). He might have some OCD because he chases shadows. He’s a little stubborn for example he doesn’t show a lot of remorse when he does something wrong.
He’s totally potty trained but doesn’t really ask to go out, rather we just let him out on a schedule.
Please contact me with questions! I tried to be as thorough as possible.
