Jorah is a wonderful dog, and we love him very much! We rescued him as a young puppy, and he has been a part of our family for the last five years. Two years ago, our daughter was born, and Jorah has never adjusted to her. He will not let her touch him (he is often skittish around new people.) He has never snapped at her, but will occasionally growl as he runs away when she chases him around the house. He is very good about asking to go outside to avoid her, but we just don't feel comfortable continuing to put him and ourselves through that. We have held out this long because we hoped he would get over it, but he has not.

Jorah is fairly well trained in the basics, he will sit, come, stay, lay down, shake hands and will put his nose to a "target" which is a closed fist. He will hike well off leash, and will do a good job of coming back when called or keeping up with you. He enjoys playing fetch and tug-of-war and loves walks hiking, and finding the softest place possible to lay down.
