Chai is a German Shepherd/Rottweiler Mix located in Austin (78724), Travis County

We are rehoming Chai due to having family move in with us. Chai is very loving and sweet but is a jumper and we can’t have her knocking over our young and old family members. I will also be going back to school soon and won’t have the time to dedicate to her like she needs. We adopted Chai from a shelter in Killeen before moving to Austin when she was 3 months old and she’ll be 2 years old in July.

She is microchipped but is not spayed due to her dna results (wisdom panel) showed she might have canine scott syndrome, we didn’t want to risk anything.

She is potty trained and sleeps in our bedroom but is also kennel/crate trained. She does get along with other dogs once she’s able to meet/smell them but she will bark at first. We do Rover dog sitting so that is how she mostly socializes. She hasn’t interacted with cats so unsure of how she’ll react. She’s playful and energetic but can also lay down and relax in the house. She loves being outside but also loves to cuddle.

She comes with: reusable diapers for her heat, leash with collar, dog bed, a week of food (puppy lamb and rice purina pro plan), some treats, and a list of her training commands.

**AAC offers free spay/neuter vouchers and microchips for dogs and cats that reside in Austin and unincorporated Travis County. Friends of AAC also offers training vouchers! Email for more info**
