Biography

This is Peanut! She showed up on our doorstep on the 4th of July scared, skinny and shaking. We took her in while we tried to find her owners. Unfortunately, we were never able to locate them. It turns out she was pregnant and heart worm positive.

We were able to help her through the birth of her puppies and her heartworm treatment and now she’s ready for her forever home!

She is pretty chill, calm and sweet. She loves to hang out in the sun outside. She does tend to bark at strangers and squirrels but she’s very responsive to commands. She seems good with other dogs. She really just wants a lap to be available for her when she’s in the mood, otherwise she rests on her bed. House trained but not great walking on a leash.
