Toby is a beautiful long hair kitty, he's about 1 year old. He is neutered & has a microchip.

We adopted him in September from the Virginia Beach adoption center on Birdneck Rd. He was terribly ill when we adopted him, the vets and my husband didn't think he was going to survive, but he did!

We didn't discover till after we got him nursed back to health, he apparently must have suffered some physical trauma or abuse- his back legs didn't function normally (he has made a full recovery) and he seems to not have much of a sense of smell, and I would describe him as sort of special needs, he is like an adorable big dumb dog- not cat like in any sense. He has trouble cleaning himself so I recently shaved him and it has helped.

He's super sweet, but not a cuddler. He would be fine as an only child fur baby,, but he gets along wonderfully with our older cat, so I believe he will do great with any cat(s). I also believe he will do well with dogs too, he has no fear of people or animals, he has a very curious nature.

I feel like our house is too big and he would do better in a smaller space, he tends to potty near the litter box instead of in it. We are gone a lot due to work, so he really needs a loving home that has someone home more often than not. Had we known of his special needs, we would not have adopted him.
