Melody is a loving Tabby lap cat that needs a new home.

She is cuddly, loves strings and laser pointers and thoroughly enjoys Temptation treats! Great to enjoy a movie with.

Unfortunately, I am getting a new roommate who is very allergic to cats. She is a longtime friend of mine, as opposed to other roommates I've had in the past, one of which was a squatter who forced me into bankruptcy. Otherwise, I would just pick a different roommate, so I'm not trying that again.

Anyway, Melody is a sweet, adorable cat who loves sitting on your lap and purring most of the time when she’s not playing, which is why she provides instant comfort and joy.

She was spayed when we adopted her in 2010, is very healthy and has had all her shots.

I am not comfortable charging any money for you to adopt her.

However, these are the list of things that I would need to ask for, in order to adopt her:
1. Visit with her first, to see if she feels comfortable on your lap.
2. Have dry food ready, she goes through about a cereal bowl size once per week.
3. Have some wet food. She doesn't eat it daily, just every other day or two.
4. Have a cat litter tray in place.
5. For water, please use filtered water, I recommend using "Zero Water" filters, or something similar, which filter tap water for a much cheaper price than bottled water companies.
6. DEFINITELY have some Temptation treats, as a small handful of them makes her day!
7. Have a car carrier to take her to her new home.
8. Prefer a current or former cat owner, of course.
9. Lastly, she is an indoor cat ONLY, so please don't let her go outside, as much as you can help it.

If you can supply those needs, then she would definitely love your company and I'm sure you would love hers as well.
