Biography

We adopted Mae from Thurston County Joint Animal Services In November of 2021. Per their records, her birthday is 10/22//2009. She was hit by a car in the summer of 2021 (prior to adoption) and is missing her left rear leg. She has been a great cat, and we care for her dearly, but we feel that she would be better served living with a family that was at home more often. We also plan to move in the next year and due to her age, do not want to put her through a cross-country move. As you can see with the pictures, she is friendly with children she is comfortable with. She also would be well served to live in a rambler/one story building due to mobility issues. She is up to date on required vaccinations (last vet visit March of 2024). She does pull her own hair for unknown reasons.

The adoption papers said that she is not well suited to live with other animals, and she is our only bet, so we can not speak to what the dynamics are. She does have some food insecurities, so we would also give her new owner her automated food dispenser to help her from eating too much/vomiting.

We care for Mae, and would like to find the right and caring home for her to go to.
