Iggy is a bird my mother has had since around 2015/2016 based on my memory. My grandfather's wife gave her to her. She was alone for most of her life but a few years ago she had another cockatiel companion who has since passed away. Not sure why. Iggy is not well cared for and I am trying to convince my mom that she can admit that a bird is not for her. If I find a good home for her, I believe my mother would be willing to give Iggy up. She has never taken Iggy to the vet and doesn't handle her. She doesn't feed her fresh food or take her out of the cage. When I visit, the water often has algae in it. The bird lives on the porch where it is very hot and sunny and windy. Trying to convince my mom to rehome her.
