King of Prussia, PA

Leo is a Catahoula Leopard Dog. He is very smart and stubborn. He knows all the basic commands (sit, lay down, place, stay, wait, speak, guard), he is not great at recall so leash is always a must. He is a good walker, you can use the command "with me" to keep him by your side. He is VERY high energy, he needs at least two long walks a day or outside play time in a fenced in yard. He is on an eating schedule, 4 cups in the morning and night. He liked coconut oil and peanut butter. Sometimes he's stubborn and won't eat so we mix one of those in there and he eats it immediately. He is crate trained. We usually have him sleep in the crate. He can be left unattended but he is mischievous and gets into things so it would be preferred to leave him in the crate if you leave the house. He is 85ish pounds but believes he is a lap dog. He is NOT a gentle giant. He likes to jump and be crazy sometimes. I'd prefer a place for him with no other dogs/no children.

Furthermore, he is a working breed. He is not neutered. As long as you keep him entertained or excersized he will be no problem to you. At times, he can act like a brat if he wants things his way - if this happens you just have to redirect him. Food helps.

We would also prefer someone who is experienced with dogs his size/intact dogs. He needs lots of exercise so we need someone who can provide that to him.
