Two and a half years ago, we welcomed Freyah, a kitten from a friend's outdoor cat, into our lives during COVID. She adapted well, enjoying leashed adventures in Rock Creek Park before we moved to Maryland, where she loved chasing bugs in our front yard. Freyah is independent but affectionate, often sleeping with us, claiming our pillows. However, with our growing family and a child who unknowingly stresses Freyah by chasing her, we've faced challenges. Freyah defends herself when cornered, leading us to decide, with heavy hearts, to find her a new home as we prepare for a cross-country move. We're committed to ensuring she finds a loving environment that matches her spirited and loving nature. This decision comes from love and the need to meet the changing needs of our family and Freyah.
