Tokyo was born, July 28, 2011. His mom and 4 siblings are still with family members. The family members who initially had Tokyo, for the first 10 years of his life, always described him as very vocal and anxious. Tokyo was rehomed to me (I volunteered) when an unforseen family circumstance came about. I did not want to see him surrendered. I am in disability and its become more difficult for me to keep up with Tokyo. I've had him for 2 years now and as he's aged, he is more vocal and has begun marking everywhere in my apt (2nd floor small apt) It may have been triggered by my neighbor adopting a female dog. Not sure. Initially, male wraps were working fine. However, he began to "scoot " out of them or chewing them off. I am being honest about all of ghos because I feel Tokyo would benefit from an enclosed yard or with someone who would be able to exert all of his energy. I walk him 3 times a day and he has no issues being around other dogs or kids. I will say, Tokyo respects and listens to commands better when a male is addressing him. Absolutely available for meet and greet. I am struggling and as it becomes more difficult for me, I feel he's missing out on a more active, interactive life. As he was never neutered, when I got him at 10 years old I was told the risk of surgery was not favorable.
