Frank is 9 years old and was rescued from a house where he was abandoned when his owner was evicted from the house. Frank's owner claimed he wasn't able to take the dog to his new residence, but was still going to visit frank to feed him and take him outside. It was immediately apparent Frank was going days without food. Every bone in his body was visible, and it smelled like he was not being taken outside. Now, Frank weighs about 80lbs now and was under 50lbs when I got him. Frank does (understandably) have food aggression issues. Before I knew not to go between Frank and any food he had claimed, he bit me on the arm. Recently, after a few months of being a good boy, he bit my dog when she came between frank and a chew treat. I don't have the right schedule to spend time with Frank to make sure he continues to progress. He is a good boy who needs patience and probably needs to be in a single pet household with room to run outside. The 4th photo was what he looked like on the day of rescue.
