Beorn is 3/4 Great Pyrenees, 1/8 Akbash, 1/8 Anatolian Shepherd. He was born in May 2022. He came to live with us as a puppy in August 2022. He has been an indoor dog almost exclusively, other than a daily walk as we don't have a fenced yard. This has proven to be an unsustainable situation. He does not have enough to do. He is very protective of us and our property. He is very friendly to other people and animals when out and about, on walks, and at the dog park. But he is aggressive toward any visitors who come over to our house. We got some bad advice early on from the breeder regarding how to handle his aggression, and so now he shows some unpredictable aggression toward my wife and 5 year old daughter. He will be very friendly 99% of the time, but will have unpredictable moments of aggression. He is immediately apologetic, and hasn't harmed them, but has scared them. I think he will still make a great dog for an experienced owner with property or a large yard for him to spend more time outside.
