We rescued Indiana December 2022 from a Texas non-profit. She was turned in, along with her siblings, to a kill shelter and a non-profit team rescued all the siblings and immediately put them into a foster all together. We got her around 12-weeks and she just turned one in mid/late-Sept.
She's a very sweet dog, she loves to cuddle and she's affectionate. She's energetic and does well with daily walks. She's very good with other dogs at the dog park. She barks at dogs on walks, but mainly because she wants to play. She has done well with the cats at the pet shop.
She unfortunately resource guards personal areas, e.g. couch. She doesn't do this with food but she has done it with special treats. She's crate trained at night and she gets off the couch with treats. She plays well with kids and is gentle during play, but due to the resource guarding, I wouldn't recommend a home with young children. She's trainable and smart, and is already getting better, but needs an experienced owner.
