We got her about a year ago from Pet Network at Incline Village. And we love her. They got her from animal control in the bay area, 50% underweight. She has a scar on her nose from some mistreatment before we got her. She must have had a terrible time as a puppy because she is wary of new people. She just backs up and does nothing aggressive and will come around for treats. Once she knows you, she is very loving. The behavior issue is that our senior female has gotten grumpy and picks on Ruby when I'm not here to stop it. Ruby gets along with all other dogs, here, dog park, etc. Our older trouble-maker dog got here first and would not do well in a new home. Ruby weighs about 60 pounds, ears not done, tail done. She is very well behaved, EXCEPT FOR, she needs a steady supply of things to chew on. If you don't supply those, anything she can reach is at risk, but it might all stop once she stops being picked on. I don't know how she is with chickens, cats, birds, etc. She rides well in the car, comes when called, doesn't run away. She would like another dog to play with, not too old.
