We are so sad to have to find immediate housing for our family dog, Penelope(Penny.) she has been a constant source of comfort and joy over the last two years. A few things about Penny;
She is crate trained/house broken
Very loyal and affectionate.
Loves to be close to her humans and is very playful and active.
Probably not a good fit for small children. Mainly because she has no concept of the fact that she is a 75 pound dog.
I have original paperwork from the family we got her from.
She could very easily be trained to be an emotional support dog.
She is an active breed. Walks are a must but she has also proven to be a great apartment dog. I would love to see her go to someone who will give her the appropriate amount of exercise every day.
She can be skittish and jumpy, especially if she’s in trouble with her person.
Yes. She sheds and if you don’t keep up with her grooming, it’s pretty noticeable. I would say she is more lab than doodle. I’ve noticed her fur doesn’t get much longer than what you see in her pictures.
She will come with her crate, toys, grooming supplies, water and food bowls, dog food on airtight container for food, AKC paperwork, leash, collar and training collar with remote.
Last thing, this is an incredibly intelligent breed and she catches on to tricks and training very quickly. Has been through six week training course and if you work with her, she is capable of so much more.
