He's a fiercely lovable big boy. He's a sweetheart to everyone he meets, he can be imposing and almost knock you over (he doesn't realize how big he is). He thinks he's a lap dog. He's terrific with children, he's been there for all 4 of my kiddos and he loves them with all his heart. He's kind to all other animals, even ducks and chickens. He LOVES to eat and has gained weight ever since our toddler started feeding him human food. He is a protective guard dog but warms up immediately to anyone that you show is not a threat.
It breaks our hearts to give him away, but have decided to find him a new home. We are moving to New Zealand and we cannot bring him with us. The immigration policy states that all pets need to remain in isolation for 6 months. We believe that it would be cruel to make him live half a year in isolation.
