Why, Meow there!
We are Toby and Ivy, bonded siblings in search of a lovely family to treat us like two of their own.
Unforeseen circumstances brought upon from the uh… veteran cat… such as stalking, chasing and fighting leading to injury prevents us, and her from living out our nine lives in peacefully.
We were adopted into a family we absolutely adore and finding a replacement will be a very hard but careful decision. We would stay but after a failing negotiations on who rules the roost (or cat tree) for a little over a year, our humans have to make a sad, sad decision.
Toby has a lot of confidence and doesn’t know how to stop poking the bear… or shall we say cat! 🐱 In fact, he’s standing up for himself so well the previously undefeated alpha geezer is getting wounded so often. While Ivy will stay out of the way from the older gal, Toby refuses to step down from retaliating all of the attacks from when we first met.
We are both loving, fun, and want to run through the house with yarn during the day and share the bed with you at night.. as long as you allow us to have our nightly zoomies.
We get along well with the other resident kitty perfectly fine, in fact, our humans are nervous about how he will handle us packing our cat bed and heading out for new adventures. This is no easy ordeal, but, due to the natural hierarchy of kitty-needs, we must be the ones to seek the second-best kitty home.
All this to say, and don’t tell “Queen Kitty”, but we fairly certain we are NOT the problem and have references to prove it.
Everyone here will miss us, and aren’t happy to make this decision, but under the advisement of the vet… the cat who shall not be named…needs to be the only Alpha here.
We hope to meet all you fur-ball, toe bean loving, cool cats soon!
