Biography

Hello, I’m Marmalade! I am sassy and affectionate and everyone agrees I have the softest coat EVER! They say I could win a beauty contest with my bright orange fur and copper eyes. I am definitely a lap cat, just don’t like to be held. As soon as you pet me, I purr like a motorboat! My front paws are declawed because I can be a bit “handsy.” I love it when you pet me, and I will direct you with my paws to show you exactly what I like. I enjoy batting around strings and balls. I am 2 years old now and still quite playful. When I showed up at the door of my current family in the freezing rain, I was a 4-month-old stray. A tiny piece of me might always skittish, but I am very loyal and affectionate with my humans. Mom describes me as a diva with a strong personality. That makes it hard for me to get along with the other cat and dog in my current home. I’d be happiest in a home without other cats or dogs where I can be The Queen! I am up to date on vaccinations and flea preventative treatment.
