Biography

Ginger will make a perfect bonded mate for your rabbit! Ginger is approximately 5 years old and spayed. For the last three years we have had the honor of caring for her. Ginger is a very shy rabbit and is in need of an experienced rabbit home. We rescued Ginger in 2021 after she was found dumped at a local State Park. Ginger was pregnant at the time and gave birth to five babies before being spayed and rehomed to us. Ginger bonded almost immediately to our 2nd rabbit and spent three years cuddled up with him almost nonstop. Unfortunately her mate recently passed away and we are not in a position to adopt another rabbit for her to bond with. We are seeking an experienced rabbit owner that is looking to add a rabbit for bonding purposes.

Ginger loves carrots, parsley, and most of all bananas. Ginger prefers not to be pet by humans but will tolerate being held for nail trimming or other essential care. Ginger is spayed and in great health. She is a bit spoiled with her own bedroom right now and nearly free range of our apartment, but previously did great in an exercise pen. Because Ginger is still very fearful of humans, we just want her to be happy with another bonded mate. Ginger made the last years of our 2nd rabbit such a joy. They were always cuddled up together, grooming each other, and lounging about the house together. We hope we can find her another home where she can be comfortable and bonded once again!

We had a small dog and a cat in the home alone with Ginger. She gets along fine with them and is less fearful of them than of people.
