Biography

We adopted Luna, a one-year-old Mama, (who had just sent off her 4 kittens) on December 15th (2 months ago) from Auburn Humane Society. She was engorged with milk, had a sweet disposition, purred and rubbed on us affectionately. I visited her 4 times before bringing her home. She seemed so amiable and happy, I thought she would/could be a friend for our 7-year-old Doodle. He loves all living creatures. I expected an adjustment period but we have recently exceeded our ability to manage her anxiety. Unfortunately, Luna has had a difficult time adjusting to Leo. & getting worse. We have done our best. Luna would do well in a home as an only pet I believe. She loves me. She waits for me to go to bed at night and runs down the hall in front of me. She loves belly rubs, food, playing and exploring. I love her too. But Leo is our main concern in this ill-fated match. I feel terrible. She is a great end of bed sleeper. She wakes me up with a sweet paw on my face every morning. If you are looking for an adventurous, sweet, tidy in the litter box (such a GREAT JOB!) sneak around and play with all things kitty, Luna could be your next best friend. She plays a little rough - only one year old. Probably not a cat for children. If she was a bird, she would ride around on my shoulder!
