Biography

This gentle, sweet, cuddle bug needs a home, as his mom (who is also my mom) recently passed over. He's 7yrs, 55lbs, spayed, microchipped, and house trained! He is a collie / shepherd mix.

Wiley is currently in a 2-week boarding school being expertly trained with foundational service dog obedience. He’s been experiencing some heightened separation anxiety since his mom passed – but he’s doing wonderful in training and is SUPER smart. This is a very expensive program and you'll be getting a well-trained good boy.

Wiley loves snuggling on the couch and being with you, like, all the time. He's good with children, cats, other dogs and general pets. He’d probably do best in a home with at least one parent working from home / hybrid / retired / around. He’s equally happy on a walk, a hike, on a car ride, or helping you binge-watching cooking shows.

He is so affectionate, inntuitive, and sweet.

Wiley Dog is healthy and up to date on health checks and shots. His breed can be prone to ear infections - but regular cleanings and a daily allergy pill manage it well. He also takes a daily anxiety pill - and I will stock both before his adoption.

I'm willing to provide all of his necessities - bowls, a fort-knox style crate, toys, brush, ear wipes, poop bags, treats, and bed. Finally, I'd just hope we could visit every once in a while, or that I could care for him if you travel every so often. While I expect to find someone who is ready to commit to Wiley through thick and thin – if caring for him presents a hardship – please return him to me.
