I have a 9 month old German Shepherd, Roxy, who is not spayed. We have had her since she was 16 weeks. She has a problem chasing her tail/anxiety. She lives with a 3 year old German shepherd male and a 12 year old St. Bernard mix female. Roxy is kennel trained, potty trained, and is good with all people. She loves car rides, treats, and cuddles. We have worked with our veterinarian for the last 4-5 months to help with tail chasing and have tried 2 different medications. We have worked with a behavioralist and she recommended finding a different placement because Roxy needs a job and we are unable to change our lifestyle for her. We both work during the day and she is in her kennel. As teachers, we have lots of breaks, etc… but she isn’t able to stop the tail chasing in our days off. She needs someone who is more active and she can be their person. I’m so sad our family isn’t right for her. She comes with food, treats, and indoor kennel.
