Sugar was rescued from an abusive home where she was tied up in a hoarding/junkyard situation and her owners were too old to give her the care she needs. There she lived outside with many cats and a small dog. Since fostering her, she has come out of her shell, loves to explore, is very playful, goofy, loyal and trusting. She walks fantastic on the leash and does not pull. She walks close to your side making constant eye contact, ready to please at any moment. She is very smart and craves direction, attention, and love. She needs a home with plenty of outdoor space, preferably without chickens. She protects against possums, skunks, and raccoons. She is not suitable to live indoors full time. She is potty trained and does not get territorial with humans over food. She loves to be right in your pocket when you spend time with her. She has been introduced to horses and did very well. Her latest vet appointment was a success! She was deemed healthy and ready for her forever home!
