Biography

Almost 3 year old Great Dane. Goofy, loving and afraid of most things. He is a very typical Great Dane. Loves snuggling on the couch, hogging the bed. He is about 140lbs and about 34 inches at the shoulder.

I don’t know how he will do with other dogs. He lives with a tiny Frenchton and they get along fine but she puts up with his rough play.

I have been ill so he hasn’t been out on a leash in a long time. I take him to a private sniff spot and he loves to run and will play about 10 rounds of fetch if not distracted.

He has an awful habit of barking and jumping at dogs or any other animal in tv. I had to put my tv up high and block it with baskets in front of the stand so he wouldn’t knock it. I’ve never had a dog do this and I’ve tried lots of desensitization to work on this.

He will chase cats. I have 2 bengals. One just stays upstairs where he can’t go, and the other had just learned how to not provoke him, most of the time.

He is use to being home with my other dog while I work 8-10 hours a day with access to my fenced backyard through a doggy door and generally does fine, though he will sometimes turn over a rug. Does not chew non dog toy items but will counter surf if food is left out.
