Piper is a 7 year old mini Border Collie. She is in good health, active and incredibly loving. Our family is moving out of state in a few weeks and we will be renting for the foreseeable future. Piper is a sweet girl but is fearful of people she does not know. She may take a while to acclimate to a new environment but once she does she is very gentle and affectionate. We currently have two cats that she gets along with very well! We also have our other dog, a husky. They get along well but there have been times they’ve raised their hackles and growled over food left out; however, those instances are rare. For this reason, I do not think it best Piper be in a home with a dog so that she has the best chance of success at acclimatizing to a new environment. Our two young children love playing with Piper, giving belly rubs and playing fetch especially. Piper has been their for the births of both of our girls and never caused an issue.
