My girlfriend and I rescued this dog off the side of the road back in september. We never intended to hang on to him, but We both fell in love with him and thought that we could handle him. It is now very clear that that is not the case. I still love him and I want only the best for him. But I cannot provide that life for him. He is a lot to handle I am not going to sugar coat that. He is very loving and very high energy. But he does not handle commands well and he is very stubborn. We definitely believed that he was also abused prior to us picking him up because he is terrified of anything and everything, including people which we have made drastic improvements on since having him. But that is about the only positive improvements that we've been able to achieve with him. He does know basic commands like come sit and stay. He is leash and potty trained as well. He has the potential to be an amazing dog. And he will be loyal and loving to whoever takes him. But he requires a lot of training and a lot of attention. And I am at a point in my life right now. Where I am unable to get that to him.
