My partner and I adopted Luna at 6 months old. She is now 3 years old. She has always been a very happy and loving girl. We worked hard to train her, teach her manners, and give her the best life possible. Luna loves to go on walks to sniff everything possible, car rides with the window down, dog parks, and sleeping. Luna is potty trained, sleeps in a crate, and can be left alone at home (uncrated) for up to 5 or 6 hours. She is a quiet dog and will only bark if she senses danger. She's lived in a big city with adults. She's been around babies and kids and has done well although they can sometimes make her nervous. We'd prefer that she goes to a home with older children (10 years or older recommended). In general, she's a shy girl but does just fine in public places. Luna needs at least 40 mins of excercise (walks, hikes, dog parks). She has only ever shown food agression with other dogs when she was younger. For this reason, we always feed her separated from other dogs. She knows quiet, sit, speak, shake, and down. Her recall is unreliable due to her breed characteristics but it’s something we've continuously worked on. Unfortunately, we can no longer care for Luna due to financial challenges. We are open to a slow transition out of our home.
