India is a 2-year old bullmastiff. Her birthday is July 21st. She weighs about 85lbs and she is the biggest most loving lap dog. She loves rubber chew toys, rope toys, and to chase her tail. She loves running at the dog park and nature walks. She LOVES to cuddle and watch movies too.
Despite her size, India is extremely gentle with children. We have a toddler who loves to give her hugs and kisses. We are uncertain how she would be with multiple children though. India does have some separation anxiety, so it's important that when you leave her she has something to play with and keep her entertained. She is house trained and crate trained. She has a sensitive stomach and does the best with a raw diet. She's also prone to having dry skin so she needs skin/coat supplements.
India does not like water (beaches, lakes) and during bath time needs gentleness and reassurance. She understands basic commands and she has been trained to sit and stay while her food is being prepared and to eat on command. She also loves to eat ice. She does well when playing with other dogs but she has never lived with another dog. But, we do know that India is protective over her crate and her bed, she doesn't like other dogs in her sleeping areas.
India is not a huge barker, she is protective over her family and her home so if she feels threatened she will bark but honestly she's a very laid back, quiet dog. It's extremely important that India goes to a home where she will receive lots of attention, love , and scratches. She needs it.
