Licorice is a fun loving 7 month old healthy female weighing in at approximately 30 lbs. She is spade (stitched removal date is end of February), microchip (paperwork on hand), and IS up to date on vaccines with medical information on hand.
She is not potty trained, but is fairly consistent with using a doggy door (accidents usually happen close to a potty pad, but not always). Licorice knows her name and ‘off’ when it comes to other dogs. Sometimes she is just so excited to see her human that she forgets to listen.
Her favorite activities include running, eating sticks/roots (not give them or show them off, but chewing them), and staring lovingly at her human as she drifts off to a nap. Oh, and did I mention belly rubs! Licorice loves her belly rubs and snuggles as well.
Licorice is a digger and runner, wanting to see what the world has in store for her and what more there is to life. She will be the lieutenant to whatever her human has planned for them. She has completed 2 lessons of dog training but did not graduate. Dog trainer information will be provided if you live in his area of services.
During her spade appointment, she was diagnosed with hip dysplasia (left hip only). We have not seen any major signs, but x-rays are highly recommended to further evaluate the degree of hip dysplasia present. Medical records will be provided (discovered on 2/9/24).
