Biography

Sasha was found in an area common for dumping. Neighbors spotted her for roughly a week before we were able to get her. When we took her in she was extremely skinny. Sasha has since gained her weight back and is in extremely good shape, however, she is still very food motivated. Sasha is a true pit. She is for experienced owners only. Sasha needs a secure yard and a lot of daily exercise. She does not like cats or other dominant females, but she is fine around male dogs and submissive females. We do not have children so we don’t know how she feels about them. Sasha is currently in a 10x10 outdoor kennel because we already have other dogs and cats and we have nowhere else to put her. This suits her fine because she needs room to pace but she is also very well behaved inside the house. Ideally Sasha would be in a 6ft privacy-fenced in yard with an outdoor kennel during the day (weather permitting), and then she would come inside to sleep at night. Sasha is an absolutely beautiful dog. She can look quite formidable, but she is actually very good natured and well behaved. She responds to commands for the most part. We are really hoping to find her a home where she can run freely, be herself, and get the attention she deserves.
