Bao has been a wonderful companion for the past three years but it has been a challenge trying to raise and train him in a small apartment. He loves the outdoors and other dogs, but isn’t great with kids or cats. He would need a big yard or property to roam, and if possible, a doggie bff to keep him company. While he’s fine flying solo, I’ve noticed he’s much happier (and tires easier!) when he’s got a partner in crime. He loves walks through the woods and would be a great hiking buddy.
Bao is very intelligent and picks up on things quickly. He walks well on his leash and loves night time walks when it's quiet. He’s a total cuddle bug in the morning and will gladly sleep in with you, and when it’s time to get up he’ll try to sit directly on you. He’s a funny little guy and I really want to find him a home where he’ll be happy, far from the stress of the city.
He reacts strongly to fire alarms and loud noises. He’s great with other dogs, but has acted out in the elevator when surprised. I would include his supplies like toys, food, his crate, and his thundervest/sweaters.
