Biography

This is Missy and she is about 3 yrs old. Was born in my care to a stray female cat I had rescued. She was placed in a new home at about 4 months of age, but unfortunately in November of last year her owner was admitted to the intensive care unit due to diabetes complications. I originally had posted Missy for adoption in January this year along with another cat from the same owner. A neighbor took them in and after a couple months decided she was only able to keep one of them. Missy then came back to my home and had been with me since. Her owner has passed on and she is now in need of a new forever home. She is a very sweet cat and loves to cuddle and lay on your chest. She is playful and also has been around a French bulldog at times and done well. My roomate has a cat that for whatever reason has chosen to target Missy and is very aggressive with her and frankly physically fighting with her any chance she gets. Due to this Missy has taken to spending all of her time in my bedroom where she sleeps in a top dresser drawer that I’ve set up for her and has a litter box and as well as food and water accessible. She had not left my room in over a month and I have to keep my door shut so that she does not get beaten up on by the other cat. Hate for her to have to live like this and would really love for her to have a home where she is Ioved and well cared for without having to be in fear or confined to a room. She has been spayed has all of her shots and vaccinations. She is also litter box trained and has only ever been an inside cat. I am definitely only looking to place her in a home where she will remain an indoors only pet. My hope is that she will still be okay with other cats after the bullying she has experienced here. She does get along with the other cats in my household but is not as confident as she once was, but still very playful and loving.
