Biography
Everybody meet Luna. She is a fixed, fully vaccinated, chipped, on heart worm preventative, 45lb 2-3year old GSD mix who is in need of a new home. She is very smart and eager to learn. Fully potty and crate trained. She loves to snuggle and be wherever you are. We are working on leash training her. She needs a home with either no other pets or with larger male dog. We are working with a trainer but are not able to keep her because she has become fixated on one of our small dogs and we are having to keep them separated, which is not fair to either of them. Her favorite word is Yep - followed by a treat. She is an excellent car rider.
We have the following for her new home: large crate with bed, cooleroo (off the ground) bed, food and water bowl, some favorite toys/bones, travel harness, leash, collar, and two training sessions with Lydia. She is a very sweet dog who is eager to please.
Yesterday, she met with a possible new home. It did not work out but gave us good information. She is very anxious when meeting new people and eventually will settle down. She has a large bark, which is not good for apartment living. She does need training, which we will continue. She needs a home that understands the trials and tribulations of a work in progress.
