Biography
Frank is a white and black short hair harlequin. He was rescued and fostered by Kitsap Humane volunteers from a high kill shelter in the Los Angeles area in 2018. I adopted him in August of 2018. He has been a 4th floor condo cat since he was 6 months old.
Frank is extremely vocal and highly motivated by food. He is an agnostic eater. He loves any type of wet food and enjoys a small bit of mashed raw chicken or salmon. He is not crazy about Laxatone hairball control treats, but will eventually get them down.
He loves to snuggle and his favorite place is tucked in-between a person and the side of the chair or couch. He warms to new people, especially children very quickly.
He won't allow brushing, but loves to be vacuumed. His favorite is the horse hair brush attachment. If you are vacuuming, you will not be able to finish without doing him!
His favorite toy and game is fetch with earplugs. We call them Binkies. He knows this word. There are many binkies under the refrigerator and stove where they escape his reach. I hide a couple once in a while, which is why so many escape.
Frank loves high places and calculating and making great leaps.
He will allow his claws to be trimmed in exchange for a few biscuits. If you are trimming your nails, he won't leave you alone until you do his then he gets very excited that he manifested treats. He gives high fives for treats.
He will tolerate a small dog who is used to cats, after a day or so, especially if they are willing to share their wet food!
