Missy is a sweet, senior cocker spaniel dog who enjoys naps, walks, chasing squirrels in the backyard, and people. My mom purchased Missy from a breeder when she was a baby and they took care of each other until my Mom passed away in November. Missy is on weight management food as she came to us overweight, but now is a healthy 28 pounds. She is on flea/heart worm preventative. She does best with grooming every 6 weeks and/or regular bathing. She has the normal health problems associated with her breed- frequent ear infections and skin management. She is potty trained and gets along with our other dog and cats. She has never been aggressive, and does not bark. We would prefer a home for Missy with someone who can keep up with her grooming/ skin care, is home often, and has a backyard where she can go to the bathroom whenever she asks. Currently we leave her at home for up to 8 hours at a time at most. We had her listed on Home To Home before, but had problems with the log in and were unable to access our account to respond to inquiries. We finally gave up and are re listing her with a new account. Please contact us if you are looking for a devoted furry companion. Thank you.
