Tuff is the best dog ever but I had to move to an apartment and he deserves so much more than I can provide with my busy schedule and no yard.
Dog Breed: American Blue Heeler
Juniper
I took her in from a family that could no longer keep her. I have had her 2 weeks. I am 66 and afraid physically cannot handle her. Also my cat is not a fan and has been acting out. She is well trained in basic obedience-sit, down, shake, and recall in fence yard. She is a puller on regular collar on walks. She does well on walks with a gentle leader but I am afraid she could hurt her neck if pulls too much. I am thinking a prong collar or e collar may be the answer.
Jessie
Jessie is a blue heeler I rescued when she was estimated to be about 2-3 years old in 2016. I was told she was found on the street so her birthdate was created by the shelter. She is very loving and cuddly.
She is potty trained with a dog door and without one. She’s a good listener especially when treats are involved.
She gets anxiety when there are thunderstorms. Otherwise, she’s happy to lay around the house and cuddle or go for a walk. I use a harness with a leash.
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to provide her with the attention and love she deserves.
She does well around other animals once she is used to them. I have another dog and she’s always been around other dogs, male and female, in the family without issues. I don’t know about other pets.
We have two kids under 2 and she has never had a problem with them. If she wants her space she walks away from them.
This is a very difficult decision we made to re-home and will miss her and our other dog, greatly.
Duece
Duece was born 2/2/22. He came to us as a puppy. He’s got a lot of energy and would do best with a job to do! Unfortunately my old male lab does not like having Duece around. I’ve tried keeping them separate but Duece wants a buddy and wants to play.
