Mew

Mew is a Munchkin Siamese. He loves to be near his people taking it easy and resting. Mew is a gentle cat who loves a peaceful home, but also loves his play time with toys.

I am looking for the perfect home because I have loved having Mew in my life and it’s really difficult to rehome him but I see this as the most compassionate choice for his well-being and future. He is wonderful. He doesn’t tear up furniture, he gives little love nibbles if you pet him in the wrong spot or when when it’s not the “right time,” he is very well mannered and house trained, loves getting some supervised sun (he is an indoor cat) and he loves his bedtime buscuit-making routine.

I adopted Mew from a family about 3 years ago. He was 2 years old at the time. They were rehoming him because it was their daughter’s cat and she was moving away for college and couldn’t take him. They did not have information about his adoption but they provided medical records.

Mew needs a stress-free environment. Preferrably, he would need to go to a home that has experience caring for cats that can develop stress-related urinary tract conditions.

Mew is 5 years old now. He recently started experiencing symptoms of stress-induced urinary tract inflammation. I’ve switched him over to a prescribed diet found at Petsmart, he is doing well with the switch. I have done everything I can to improve his environment. For cat owners, apparently this is pretty common and is managed by adjusting environment and nutrition according to a cats needs. Mew was my first cat and this has all been new to me. But I have all his records and I would obviously pass along anything I have that belongs to him or would be needed for his care.

There are a lot of reasons I can think Mew isn’t as happy as he could be. My parents are aging and I have to be out of the house more. My dog is also aging and his needs and conditions might be stressing Mew out. Unfortunately, other life circumstances are taking a toll on my health as well. I find myself at a difficult crossroad in making this choice but I love this cat so much and I just want him to be happy.

Please help me find the right home for this wonderful kitty who was my family member for the passed 3 years. I’m really sad about this but I know I will be happy when we find the right home.

Oscar

Oscar is a munchkins cat with his kitten energy and has bonded with my cats. I was given Oscar by a neighbor who only gave him table scraps. But Oscar loves his pets and cuddles and loud when he purrs.

Bella

Bella is an extremely sweet girl that loves attention and hanging out on the couch with you. She’s very vocal and communicative but also passive and calm. She doesn’t play much but does like to bat a toy around here and there and enjoys chasing a cat laser. She can be very shy but opens up as she gets more comfortable with you. Bella is also great with other animals, including dogs and cats. I dont know her history with children, but she’s very gentle and tolerant and would more than likely do well with kids. She’s a bit older but is completely healthy, with recent blood work and dental assessments coming back perfect.

I have a carrier, bowls, and food that will come with Bella and will hopefully help her adjust to her new home.
